
The Chapter's Road Captain program was spearheaded by our first Head Road Captain Mike Debruler. Half way through the 2006 riding season, Mike had to step down. The baton was passed to our new Head Road Captain Gus Guzman. The Road Captains are in good hands with Gus.
A total of 28 members were selected for the Road Captain program based on a number of criteria, including their overall riding experience.
In February 2006, these members attended training by well-known motorcycle training instructor James Schultheis from Tennessee.
At the March 2006 Chapter meeting, 28 new road captains were presented to the Chapter, where they received their road captain rockers.
