Sat - Aug 07		Chapter Picnic Planning committee headed by Mary Biel is actively planning this year’s picnic. If you would like to volunteer or submit ideas, please contact Mary at: picnicchair@southrichmondhog.com. We've selected a new location for this year's event at Twin Lakes State Park.
Sat - Aug 07 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM		Cal's Wake-Up Call Every month before the Chapter meeting, join Cal Wendrick our Assistant Director at Shoneys between 7:30am and 8:00am for the pre-meeting wake up call. They put us in our own room and bring us all the coffee we could want. In short, it's a great time! Hope to see you there.
Sat - Aug 07 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM		Chapter Meeting We meet at South Richmond Harley-Davidson Shop every month, and we try to keep it fun, short (around an hour), and informative. Weather permitting, plan on a lunch ride leaving around 10:30am after the meeting is concluded.

Fri - Aug 13 -- Sun - Aug 15		Warm Springs Overnighter Scott and Jolie Blankenship are doing it again! They are planning another awesome trip to Warm Springs, VA with lots of great riding. Leaving Friday with two ride options available on Saturday morning: a ride to Cass, WV for a train ride leaving Whittaker Station to Bald Knob; and a more leisurely ride for those not wishing to go to Cass. Saturday night there will be a BBQ with music and dancing. Keep an eye out for more details to come!
Sat - Aug 21 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM		Wreaths Across America Poker Run - in Memory of Tigger Rain Date: August 22, 2010 Location: South Richmond Harley Davidson Registration: starts at 9:00 - Last bike out by:10:00 or immediately following orientation $15 per hand/ $15 each additional This covers the cost of a wreath, and your hand in the poker run. **FANTASTIC PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED AT THE CLOSE OF THE EVENT.** In addition to a great ride, you can treat yourselves to a fine meal of Hot Dogs and Hamburgers being provided to all the participants at the South Richmond Harley Davidson Shop.
Sat - Aug 21 9:00 AM		New Member Orientation Welcome to our new members! This event and ride are just for you, seasoned and new riders alike. There will be an orientation and group riding tips session at South Richmond Harley starting at 9am. Weather permitting, we'll have a short lunch ride to follow around 10:30am, where some of our veteran members will join in to help you get used to riding with our group.
Thu - Aug 26 6:30 PM		Dinner Ride to Quaker Steak and Lube Dan Scrobe is leading this month's dinner ride to Quaker Steak and Lube, located at 8800 West Broad Street near the intersection of Broad and Parham. The fare is American, Burgers, and wings, with entrees running from $10 - $15. Leaving SRHD at 6:30pm.
Fri - Aug 27 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM		River City Diner Bike Night From 5 - 10pm every fourth Friday of the month from April to October, River City Diner on Huguenot Rd. co-sponsors bike night with Richmond and South Richmond Harley Davidson. Come on out and support this event for our sponsor! Proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Sat - Aug 28 9:30 AM		Mystery Ride This promises to be an exciting ride especially since the only one that knows the destination is the Lead Road Captain, which will be Gus. You don’t want to miss out on all the Fun and Excitement. KSU Time: 9:30 am from SRHD.
Sun - Aug 29 2:00 PM		Johnny Rockets Lunch Ride Get ready for some burgers, shakes and malts. KSU Time: 2:00 pm from SRHD.
Tue - Aug 31 5:00 PM		Chesterfield County Fair Ride Just like last year, we have the opportunity to participate in a parade at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds! Date: August 31st (Tuesday) Staging Time: 5:15 - 5:30 Where: Chesterfield County Fairgrounds (Courthouse and Krause Rd) Entry Point: Gate 4.
